Wicklow GAA Online - SFC Highlights
The good folk at Wicklow GAA Online have added SFC Highlights to the Wicklow GAA website!

Check out Pele Osborne's flick against Coolkenno ;-)
Juniors face big challenge in Division 4W.
Our Flynn Excavation sponsored Juniors take on championship rivals Baltinglass in the latest round of Whittle Football League Division 4W on Tuesday 3-Aug at 7:30pm in Jim Mills Memorial Park.
As in the last few years, Baltinglass & Hollywood are battling for top spot with both likely to feature in the Division 4W final. Our lads are still on for a third place
finish though and a win here would set them up nicely for the concluding rounds.
No details of our Philip Doyle Junior B Football Championship clash with Baltinglass have been announced yet.
Heartbreak but no disaster in Senior Championship.
Our Flynn Excavation sponsored seniors battled hard in Baltinglass in Round 2 of Coogan Hardware Senior Football Championship against Coolkenno. A last second Coolkenno penalty snatched victory from us however and without a win in the first two games things were beginning to look very bleak indeed.
As luck would have it, a big Baltinglass win over Carnew Emmets effectively means that if we beat Carnew Emmets and Baltinglass beat Coolkenno in the final round of games next Saturday (7-Aug),
then Donard/Glen will take the second quarter-final spot on offer from Group 4!
All this is easier said than done however as Carnew know that a win for them would more-than-likely send them through regardless of other results. Our lads will need to be at their very best to beat Carnew - it's make-or-break time in Baltinglass on Sat 7-Aug!
In Whittle Football League Division 1, recent wins have seen us sneak into the top half. This year's Division 1 is turning out to be a very tight affair but a few more points would see a top-half finish.
Fantasy League is back (for want of a better title!).
Our Fantasy League is back for the 2010/11 season. I sort of lost track of the league last year so apologies to all! You can join Phase I of donardglengaa.com on Fantasy Premier League private league using the following code: 57491-19330.

Donard/Glen in Croke Park!
Our U8s played in a Leinster GAA tournament in Croke Park on Wednesday 1-Jul.
This was a great opportunity for our players who train very hard every Saturday (in Donard at 11am).

Well done to all who played and supported the future of Donard/Glen GAA club!
